March 13, 2019
Alyssa & Marcos’s Wedding was on a perfect day in March…although we weren’t so sure it was going to be perfect weather leading up to it.
It was supposed to be storming the whole day. Which is fine, it just changes a few things up and makes transport a little more difficult, but overall it would’ve been perfectly fine.
But that wasn’t the case.
We arrived at The George in College Station, and quickly gathered all of Alyssa’s gorgeous details. Her rings, shoes, invitation suite etc. All the little things that would begin to tell the story of their beautiful Wedding Day.
The George is this gorgeous hotel in College Station. It’s full of really neat architectural design everywhere you look, and was really the perfect spot for them to do all of their getting ready and Wedding Party Portraits.
As I was shooting details, Marcos and his Groomsmen arrived and hung out in the bar area of The George and Chris captured them hanging out, having a celebratory drink and playing games together.
Marcos and really all of the guys, looked so dapper! Marcos’s suit was just perfect and so unique! I loved the detail to it.
The day was going by beautifully, staying pretty much on schedule. We got Alyssa in her dress, with veil and shoes on…looking just like she had stepped out of a fairy tale.
Alyssa requested a special First Look with her Dad. I absolutely adore these moments.
When her dad turned around, there was not a dry eye in the room (including Chris and I)! It was just precious to see. There is something so precious about a Father’s love for his little girl.
And I just loved hearing her whisper “Thank you Daddy for giving me the most perfect day” and his response “You deserve everything and more baby girl”
Que the tears!! Ahh I’m fighting them back just typing this up! It was such a precious moment.
The rest of the day went just perfectly. We had a blast with their Wedding party, taking pictures and walking around the area. The ceremony was just beautiful, and they even had a full Mariachi Band at their Ceremony AND their Reception!
The Reception was held at the Brazos Center and they had it decorated just beautifully!
Mariachi bands are so fun and the music is just really beautiful. It definitely made for a fun evening.
The end of the night for us arrived faster than we thought. Since Alyssa & Marcos didn’t have a formal exit planned, we decided to take them outside for a special picture with the Brazos Center in the background to round off their gallery, and I think it turned out pretty great!
