I cannot believe it has been nearly two weeks since my last blog! Summertime is always a bit hectic, with kiddos at home and trying to balance work life and mom life…not sure I’ll ever figure it out completely! So thank you for having some grace with me while I’m not as consistent during these summer months!
Tho I am being a little less consistent in my online presence, I’m still shooting up a storm! One of the sessions recently was with Jason and Vi! We met them at the Fort Worth Japanese Botanical Gardens for their engagement session, and we couldn’t be more happy with the way it turned out!
The garden is just beautiful, at every turn there was more, and Jason & Vi made our job so easy! When we arrived I initially walked in to check things out and realized we would just need to shoot as we walked. This place was full of gorgeous greenery, and ponds. There were bamboo walls and little bridges. They began the session with a quick few shots of Jason’s favorite team, and then changed into the perfect outfits. Vi looked so graceful in her dress, and Jason swooned over his bride to be. It didn’t take long for the two of them to get comfortable and soon we were giggling and laughing, and Jason was quick to pick up direction and run with it! My favorite images were when Jason leaned over and kissed Vi’s nose so sweetly. I loved getting to capture a glimpse of their love!
We had such a wonderful time walking thru the garden, and capturing these two!
I always enjoy getting to know our couples, and since we traveled a bit, we decided to go have dinner after and grab a cold drink since it was a thousand degrees outside and we were ALL sweating! We loved getting to sit down and hear their story in more detail, and listen to the plans they have for their wedding. I’m not gonna lie…I’m pretty excited about their dinner menu! Sitting, talking, laughing and drinking with our clients is probably one of our favorite things to do.
Vi & Jason, thank you for trusting us with this precious time in your lives!!! We cannot wait for your wedding!
