Chelsea & Herman’s beautiful Wedding at the Inn At Quarry Ridge in Bryan, TX

I sat down with Chelsea & Herman at my favorite spot, Harvest Coffee Bar that afternoon to talk all things Wedding Day.

The first thing I always do when sitting down with a couple is ask them about their story. As their story began to unfold, I nearly teared up…

The two of them began their relationship as friends. They were leaders at their church together. Herman realized his feelings for Chelsea first, and he waited patiently, praying for the girl he knew would one day become his wife.

After a bit, Chelsea began to realize she too had feelings for Herman.

And the rest is a magical love story leading up to last Friday!

When we arrived on site at the Inn at Quarry Ridge, Chelsea was calm and collected! We grabbed her detail things and began our day.

It was a bright, sunny and exceptionally warm May afternoon. And while it may have been a bit warmer than we have been used to so far this year, we LOVE a bright and sunny day!

The Inn At Quarry Ridge is just perfect for shooting details in the gorgeous Stonehem Hall Reception area, with floor to ceiling windows on either side of the Hall!

Chelsea got in her gown not long after this…she looked incredibly beautiful all dolled up and bridal!

We spent some time taking portraits of the Bridesmaids and then Groomsmen, hid them away and got ready for the Ceremony!

Their Ceremony was beautiful held in front of a gorgeous Gazebo on the grounds of the Inn at Quarry Ridge. The sun peeks over the trees to the right of the Gazebo making it the perfect spot for outdoor Ceremonies.

There are so many different traditions you can incorporate into your Wedding Ceremony, but I loved that Chelsea & Herman chose to honor one another by doing a Foot Washing Ceremony. They each took turns washing the others feet, and while doing this they spoke private vows to one another as their friends and family spent these moments in prayer over their Marriage.

We all got a kick out of Herman, once they finished washing each others feet, he decided to stay barefoot! He said it felt too good to put his shoes back on! Haha!

They finished their Wedding vows and sealed it with a kiss! The excitement was contagious!

After their Wedding Ceremony was completed, and portrait time was done, we headed inside, and the rest of the night was a PARTAYYY!! Their friends and family had a BLAST dancing and celebrating! They ended the evening with a sparkler exit, and at the end of the line I giggled as Chelsea leaned into me and “can we leave now?!” I said “YES! GO!” and off they went, to begin their journey into MARRIAGE!
