Your Wedding has gone off without a hitch. The décor is perfect. Your dress WOW’d the whole place, and your shoes…well they were show stoppers! Your Groom is looking super dapper in that tailored suit. To top it off, the boys stayed sober and your Groom even shed a sweet tear as you walked down that aisle to say “I Do”. You can just see it can’t you?!
You’ve made it to the Reception, and you’ve begun to have the time of your life!! The DJ is a total pro and you are dancing and enjoying those signature cocktails surrounded by your favorite humans.
The DJ announces your cake cutting and you excitedly head over to do the honors.
The two of you cut into the amazingness that is your Wedding Cake, it’s the best cake you’ve ever had, and then you look around to find the person who will continue to cut the cake for your guests…except you didn’t think about this small detail.
I’ve had a few weddings where in this moment I see the panic in the brides eyes as she realizes she didn’t plan for this part! AHHH! *If you were one of those brides, IT’S OK!!! This is probably your first wedding to plan, there is no expectation of perfection!
Thankfully no one has ever gone without cake at one of our weddings, so even if this was you or you hadn’t thought of this, I promise someone will step up and make it happen!
These are one of the many little details that tend to get overlooked! So think about this little tid bit and be sure to ask a good friend of the family or a sweet Aunt to handle that little thing. A lot of times those people in your life will be happy and excited to have a part in your big day!!
** BONUS TIP **
Hire a Wedding Coordinator (at least day of!), to make sure none of the little things are overlooked!
