Shelby & Matthew Marry At The Elegant Miramont Country Club In Bryan, TX

Shelby & Matthew’s Miramont Country Club Wedding was a stunning masterpiece of classic beauty.

Getting Ready

As we walked into the Suite that Shelby was getting ready in, you could feel a dash of excitement as all of the girls were preparing for the day. The team from Celebrity Spa & Salon was there working hard at making sure everyone was going to look their best!

We quickly grabbed all of the little details, including a stunning gown from Bella Bride Boutique in San Antonio, TX. It was the absolute perfect Wedding Gown for Shelby. The lace details were incredible!

While I was with the girls, Chris was down the hall a bit hanging out with the guys as they got all dapper. Capturing the guys getting ready isn’t talked about much, but we feel like it’s a vital time of the day. While we all know we think about the Bride first and foremost when it comes to the Wedding Day…the Groom plays a pretty big role! I mean he is one half of the Married Couple afterall! We (and by we I mean Chris! Haha!) love taking the time to capture the Groom as he gets his Coat and Tie on, hangs out with his closest friends and prepares for the amazing day ahead.

We took the Groom and his Groomsmen outside for a few portraits first. And while the temperature was less than pleasant, they were good sports and I didn’t hear one of them complain!

After that, I went back inside right in time for Shelby to be ready to get into her Wedding gown.

Shelby is one of those girls that has a classic beauty and an air of elegance.

Her mother helped her get into her Wedding gown, put on her jewelry and placed her stunning cathedral length veil in her hair.

She was the picture of perfection.

We headed downstairs to go outside for some portraits, and then came inside for the Bridesmaids and the Bride to rest and cool down.

As Shelby sat she was presented with a gift from her soon to be husband…her Wedding Band from the prestigious Cartier. It was a lovely surprise, and so beautiful!

Ceremony

Shelby & Matthew’s Wedding Ceremony was held at St. Mary’s in College Station, TX. We love this church because it is filled with light! It’s dusty blue walls, and white moldings make it a beautiful site to be seen.

The Wedding Ceremony was beautiful, and after we captured a few portraits of the Wedding party we followed Shelby & Matthew as they were greeted by a Chauffeur awaiting their arrival. He waved them toward a beautifully restored classic Bentley. They rode away as Mr. & Mrs. Kearns, headed to celebrate their new Marriage!!

Cocktail Hour

When we arrived at Miramont Country Club they were putting the finishing touches on the Ball Room. They had a lovely cocktail hour going as we finished portrait time as well as giving us the time needed to capture the stunning Ball Room.
It is one of the harder things to do on a Wedding Day…allow for the time needed to capture the Reception area before anyone has been in to disturb anything.

Something I always try to mention to my couples. You work really hard at planning out all of the lovely details, and so does your team! The last thing we want is for you to miss the opportunity to have those details captured because we didn’t make a plan to either have everything ready prior to the Ceremony, or plan a Cocktail Hour away from the Reception area so that we have the opportunity to capture it before guests are allowed in.

Reception

Once that was done, the Grand Entrance began and the party got started! There were so many fun elements included in this Reception.

The party was a blast, and it ended with Sparklers and their Bentley getaway car!

We really felt honored to be asked to capture such a stunning event and are so happy for Shelby & Matthew as they enter the most fun adventure of all time…Marriage!
