Planning a Wedding is hard work! It’s a whole new world you are introduced to that you may not have even known about. You begin to learn a new lingo, you are introduced to a whole new world of businesses you never knew existed! And all of the sudden you are trying to figure out what to say yes to and what to cut. It’s a lot of pressure.
First, BREATH!
Remember that this is just planning for one day to celebrate the union of you and your spouse. Remember that even if NOTHING goes right for the Wedding…you will still be married to your best friend!
But of course I want you to have the wedding of your dreams! I want every detail to be perfection. I want you to feel complete peace the day of your wedding, knowing that you will be able to look back on this day with fond memories, and just the thought of it will give you butterflies and keep that flame between you alive!
Here is a just a little piece of planning advice from us!
WHEN PLANNING A WEDDING…GO WITH YOUR GUT
Look at your options first and foremost. There are so many things such as:
Coordinator, Photography, Videography, Florist, Custom Invitations, Linens, Rentals, Food, Venue, Hair and Makeup… I could keep going!
But YOU make YOUR list of options.
When you look at that list honestly, which ones speak to you the most?
List them in order!
What happens if your number one priority is photography, and you have your heart set on a specific photographer but you booked the venue first and you find out your dream photographer isn’t available?! Book the most important thing on the list FIRST to ensure you get it!
Setting priorities based on your gut instincts will help you be able to plan the wedding you will really want!
Happy Planning!
