Jaime & Frankie’s gorgeous summer Wedding at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Anderson, TX
On a gorgeous September day Jaime and Frankie got all dolled up and did something big…
It all started with online dating profiles that friends sneakily set up, and ended with a story of true love.
Getting Ready
We arrived the morning of the Wedding and the girls were chatting away, while they were being primped and pampered! We began as we almost always do, by grabbing the detail items…I just love to see all the beautiful little details and love taking the time to photograph these. They seem small and almost insignificant, but YOU know they aren’t. YOU worked hard to choose each piece that you are wearing and that means something to me.
TIP: Have you detail items already ready to go in a box/bag when your photographer arrives. This will save time and stress! I send out a Wedding Guide after you book and it has exactly what I need listed in it for you to reference. Collecting these things and getting them together the week prior to the Wedding will save you from the anxiety of having one more thing to do the night before or worse…day of!
Ceremony
Jaime and Frankie are like most Southern couples and they chose to keep with tradition and forego a First Look. They were being married with a traditional Catholic Mass, therefore their Ceremony began earlier, as most Catholic Ceremonies tend to do. Because of this, the most obvious pro for First Looks (having all portraits done prior to the Ceremony) is a non issue, since we had plenty of light to get things done after! We even had time to do TWO portrait sessions with the Bride & Groom, sneaking them out around sunset!
Their Ceremony was beautiful, and steeped in tradition as their friends and family witnessed the two of them vowing to love and cherish one another till death do they part.
Portraits
After the Ceremony we started Family Portrait time. Family portraits seem to always be a source of stress for couples to think about. To help relieve this stress, I have created a system that organizes and streamlines our portrait time!
We have you let us know weeks in advance who all will be participating in family portrait time (we recommend ONLY including immediate family ie grandparents, parents, siblings and spouses/children of these people). Once we have received this information, we create a shotlist that YOU get to approve! You can add/remove or change whatever to make sure you get exactly what you hope to get!
And the BEST part?! We have a pretty good track record of these portraits only taking roughly 20 minutes!! Yep! You read that right!!
After we got the family portraits done we moved right into Wedding Party portraits and moved outside for some gorgeous portraits in front of their beautiful Church.
Once we got done having fun with this group of amazing humans, we shooed everyone away so we could grab some uninterrupted time with the newly wedded couple!
These two were pros! We had them snuggling, twirling and smiling away. We just loved spending time with them and witnessing their excitement to be MARRIED!
Reception
We got the two lovebirds inside, had their grand entrance and then let the party get started!
Their night included dancing, selling the boot, the grand march and so much FUN!!
We were truly honored to be there to capture their Wedding Day.
Jaime & Frankie, thank you for having us!
Welcome to the Married Kids Club you two!
