Jessy & Shane’s Beautifully Windy Texas Engagement Session near Brenham Texas

While I was born and raised in Texas, I never really have thought of myself as a Texas girl…

I have never worn cowgirl boots, the rodeo has never really appealed to me (and all the Texans gasp!!) and I honestly would rather live next to a beach (NOT a Texas beach lol!)…

But…I DO appreciate the beauty that Texas is.  I understand the love for this great state we live in.  ESPECIALLY when I get to photograph a couple on a private piece of property that will literally take your breath away with its beauty.

I have had the opportunity to enjoy some of this states gorgeous untouched lands as a photographer, and can honestly say it does have some of the most stunning property.
The rolling hills, the sunsets that will touch your heart, and the great trees that allow just enough of those Texas sunsets to peak thru…

Jessy & Shane’s Texas Engagement Session was one of these times.

I wish I could take couples on this property for every session because WOW.

Their session was on a pretty windy day, but it worked in our favor I think.  The wind blew Jessy’s hair just perfectly, it made the tall grass wave in such a way that had you wondering what story it wanted to tell.

And Jessy & Shane? They were an amazing couple, who took to the camera with ease and grace.

They were nervous when I first got there, I reassured them that it would be ok.  And within the first 20 minutes you would’ve thought they had been in front of my camera all of their lives!
