Kamie & Barrett chose the beautiful 7F Lodge for their Wedding Day. It’s a venue that Chris and I have talked about many times. One that up until their Wedding, we had never booked!
If you’ve never heard of 7F, or even you have and you just haven’t ever visited, you are missing out!
The venue is located on a quaint little piece of property in South College Station. It has several cabins, all in different themes. There are trails that connect them all, and lead you to the chapel. A beautiful little white chapel, that makes the perfect backdrop for Weddings.
Needless to say, we were so excited to be able to finally shoot here!
When we arrived, the girls were in the Hill Country Lodge, and the boys were getting ready in the Mexico Lodge.
Kamie was getting pampered by the incredibly talented Cynda of Urban Rouge, and her maids were all fluttering around in the process of getting ready themselves as well. There were giggles as I walked in, and an air of fun and excitement. Kamie was cool as could be, and didn’t look one bit anxious! She even had a cute little mini lama/alpaca (there was a debate as to which it was!) piñata! Their Wedding was on Cinco De Mayo afterall! She dubbed him, Carl/Carlos, and if you pay close enough attention, he makes a few cameos throughout the night! I just love it when brides are able to enjoy themselves on their Wedding Day.
When I went to check on Barrett, he was hanging out just talking and laughing with the Groomsmen. He was so ready and excited to see his bride!
The two of them had decided on a First Look, and I gotta tell ya, it’s always a favorite moment of mine.
Barrett couldn’t quit grinning when he saw Kamie. He kissed her lovingly, as we stood in the background allowing them uninterrupted time together.
The ceremony was performed by Kamie’s Grandfather, a tradition in her family. And as they finished their kiss, sealing their fates as Husband & Wife, you could feel the love that the two of them shared. The thrill of their journey as husband and wife beginning, took over quickly and they grinned from ear to ear as they walked back down the aisle hand in hand.
The night went on, with laughter, fun and dancing. Their friends and family surrounding them, loving on them, dancing with them and thoroughly enjoying the celebration of their love and new Marriage.
Congrats again Kamie & Barrett. We are thrilled to have you join the Married Kids Club!
