Norma & Santos Cloudy Texas Engagement Session at Brownstone Reserve in Bryan, TX
Norma & Santos chose to do their Engagement Session at their Wedding venue, Brownstone Reserve.
They fell in love with that space and with good reason! The grounds are stunning, and the venue itself has so many gorgeous perks.
If you are from around this area, then you know that the weather lately has been less than cooperative. So we kept a close eye on it, and while it wasn’t the super sunny day I’m sure every bride hopes for, it was still a great day with no rain!
If your Engagement Session lands on a day where the sun isn’t out in all it’s glory, let me encourage you a bit. Did you know when there is massive cloud coverage the clouds act as a huge diffuser? What does this mean? Well it means that I can pretty much shoot you from any direction I want. Some of the shots we got in this session, wouldn’t have been possible without that cloud coverage!
I love the soft light coverage, so don’t let it worry you!
I also suggest not even looking at the weather until the day of your session…we live in Texas and the weather around here is super fickle. I’ve had sessions scheduled where the next day the forecast was 80% chance of rain, it ended up being bright and sunny. TRUE STORY!
You just never know what you’re gonna get so don’t add extra stress in your life by checking the forecast. What will be will be!
These two rolled with the punches, and had a great time.
We even went inside for a few shots in the Brownstone’s gorgeous Bridal Suite!
I am just so excited for their upcoming Wedding, and so thankful for the opportunity to be their Wedding Photographer!
Norma & Santos, We are thrilled for you! Your big day will be here before we know it!
