Brittany & Zach’s Rustic Glam Engagement Session at Lick Creek Park
College Station, TX

Brittany & Zach wanted their Engagement Session to have a more rustic field backdrop…so they naturally chose Lick Creek Park!
It’s got all you’d want for a rustic feel, the long grass, the trees on trees on trees.

The morning of their session it was dark and gloomy and seemed to be threatening rain…so we made plans to meet a bit earlier so that we would have more light. Brittany & Zach were troopers and trusted that even if they didn’t have the sun shining I could capture their Engagement Session beautifully still. I love it when my clients trust my ability!

A few weeks prior to their session, Brittany emailed me a picture of the dress she wanted to wear. She asked, “Is this too dressy?”…

In case you ever have this question, my answer is always, no matter what, a resounding NO!
You can NEVER be too dressed up for your Engagement Session in my opinion!
Putting a girl in a formal dress out in a field…yes please!!!

And guys! This goes for you too! If you show up in a Tux, I may cry! It’s not very often that you get to get all dressed up and take fun pictures with the love of your life, take advantage!
Brittany got all pampered that morning too by doing a trial hair and makeup run! And when they arrived they were decked out y’all!
Brittany had on the most gorgeous Emerald Green floor length dress, and Zach was all dapper!

And no worries, they didn’t let their evening go to waste either! They planned a date night for the two of them and made their weekend super special.

We had a blast walking around, and talking. These two learned my posing so quickly and effortlessly. My favorite part? They giggled every chance they got and I was all about it! I just kept saying “You two are so adorable!!” Because they ARE!!
They did change into a more casual outfit, and I loved it too!

I plan for your session to be around 1.5-2hrs so that you have time for multiple outfits.
They love each other so much and getting to witness that and be a small part of their story…well it is just such an honor.
